3️⃣ Bitdefender – https://vpnpro.sale/Bitdefender-discount/0Y08Z1Pmhnc/

Whenever I come across another “best antivirus”, it’s one pitfall after another. Bad performance, loose security standards, and even looser morals regarding data collection – there are lots of unsafe “best antivirus” options out there.

So after a lot of tests and considerations, I’ve found 3 providers I personally find worthy of the “best antivirus provider” title, and I will show you why.

💎 Best antivirus with a free option | TotalAV review
————————————————

This is a well-organized antivirus, with a visually pleasant app. I’m not talking about only Desktop apps though, TotalAV’s apps for mobiles are also consistently straightforward and intuitive.

With a free version, TotalAV’s security is not that impressive: there’s a free anti-malware scanner and phishing protection which detects common methods used for phishing, but that’s about it.

Getting a premium adds real-time protection and a ransomware shield. These features are quite similar to the ones Bitdefender offers, focused on preventing malware infestations or ransomware encryption attempts.

🔥Impeccable performance | Norton 360
————————————————

One more antivirus worth discussing is Norton 360. In terms of popularity and reputation, those two are quite similar, but I can’t say the same about their User Interfaces. Where Bitdefender prefers simplicity in design, Norton’s design is rather complex – a lot of features open in separate tabs, and my desktop tends to clutter a lot for no reason.

While I don’t like the design that much, the security part of Norton antivirus is the polar opposite. According to AV-test, Norton has an almost spotless record lately. Looking at Norton’s features, I understand why. For online protection, there’s a Smart Firewall. To get rid of malware, there’s Real-time protection, always standing on guard for incoming malware threats.

💣Best security on the market | Bitdefender review
————————————————

Mostly, I’m intrigued by the features of this antivirus. Bitdefender is designed to provide extensive protection against all types of malware: ransomware, spyware, viruses, and more.

The malware protection is always on, scanning for potential threats incoming from other devices or internet connections. Ransomware protection is similar, but it also resists any attempts to encrypt your data without your consent. The same can be said about Microphone and webcam protection – no one will be able to access them.

The independent test by AV-test confirms this, giving Bitdefender a high score for detecting and eliminating threats. That said, Bitdefender can get a bit overzealous, last test had a false alarm, basically marking a harmless file as malicious. It’s not critical, but you have to keep things like that in mind.

At this point, you already saw the UI of the Bitdefender app. I find it quite simple and straightforward, easy to figure out even for a beginner. This is true for all available operational systems as well, so consider it if you need the best antivirus for Android or iOS.

  1. Bitdefender and Avira are heavy on the system despite everyone saying they aren’t. They give a lot of false positives, they are intrusive and even if you turn off the protection they remain active.
They do not comply when we exclude folders from virus scanning. and uninstalling it can be a real headache and possibly having to format the operating system. The best free antivirus 2024 is AVG.
    I like Urban VPN.

  2. NO NORTON! IF YOU WANT ALL THIS CRAP THAT HE’S TALKING ABOUT NORTON’S GOING TO COST YOU FORTUNE. AND THEN THEY’RE GOING TO KEEP BILLING YOU, AND KEEP BILLING YOU AND KEEP BILLING YOU AND KEEP BILLING YOU, AND NOT OFFER YOU ANY RECOURSE!! NO PHONE NUMBER, NO CONTACT, PEOPLE FROM ROMANIA, WHO DON’T SPEAK ENGLISH COME ON THE CONNECTION SUCKS, AND THEN THEY JUST DROP YOU. TRUST ME YOU DON’T WANT NORTON! 😱🫣😖🙄

  3. northen is POS period. don’t use it. northern will slow down your already slow pc/laptop….. use vipre antivirus. love it..

  4. Anyone who is advocating for TotalAV as a good anti-virus, should be arrested on the spot. It’s the biggest scam around.

  5. Norton, are you joking? Unless it has changed recently I have found that it installs a load of s*it on your computer, is resource hungry and if you want to leave it and use another AV, then it’s incredibly difficult to remove from your system. That’s my experience of it. I would never install Norton on my computer.

  6. I like Norton.
Side Note: My Norton 360 was set to expire March 1, 2024 and the company wanted ~$120 for 1 year/5 user renewal. I brought a new Norton 360 1 year/3 user (I only use 3 licenses) for $19 on Amazon.

  7. Avoid Norton at all costs… after paying them hundreds of dollars for protection, thy bombard me with pop ups, constant advertisement pitches, and a lot of annoying windows and notices that come up everywhere.

While the antivirus might be good at catching stuff in your computer, their sales strategies are terrible. AVOID!

  8. paid to promote bitdefender is garbage and norton i will never trust again you obviously dont know WTF your talking about and being paid to promote these shit anti viruses

  9. Nord VPN is much faster than any others I’ve tried, but I’ve found like all VPN’s, it dramatically slows down the net. I canceled it after two years.

  10. Norton had a miner in it, an absolute scandal even if it’s detection rates are decent with its family control options.

    Bitdefender was on point.

TotalAV could be considered the Avast and AVG of 2017, PuP.

  11. Anyone use Aura? Talk about expensive, over $100 a year, but is it worth it? (I doubt it but I’ve got an open mind)

  12. Bitdefender has a memory hogging problem. They refused to acknowledge it for years so I dropped my subscription.
This guy probably never used it. He also never used Norton going by all the bad comments about Norton here.

  13. Affordable? I disagree. It’s sad we have gotten to the point where we, as the consumer (and IT crowd) have dived right into the "subscription" bandwagon. Paying a monthly subscription for what WAS the cost of the software that came with at least 1 year of definition updates. I’ve been looking at AV software to replace TotalAV and have concluded NOTHING is 100% so why even bother.

  14. Is there any of these companies where you can actually call and talk to a representative of the company? Not get someone over and Bulgaria or India or the Philippines, or where should I get stuck over to a chat bot that just gets stuck and won’t let you get out of there if you ask for a human?? If I can’t even talk to the people who I’m paying money to, I don’t have any confidence in that company. 🧐🤔 And neither should you! They’ve just made American consumers completely stupid by doing the "frog in the water" thing of taking down your rights as a consumer little by little. Now they have them right where they want them, being able to take their money and the consumer not being able to contact anyone, not being able to discuss issues with a human being, like how to get their money back, just stop them from taking out of their accounts, or how to get it resolved, etc. What is wrong with us?😳🤯 We’re better than that we deserve better than that! 🤷🏼‍♀️🙄🫣🤨

  15. Clouds are for rain, not to get your information sold and held for ransom by C*NT COMPANIES that just give a FCK about $$.

  16. I use Norton and it has a Ton of pop ups drives me crazy, even if you turn them off, I’m switching when my year is up

  17. Fiber network providers are now providing their own firewalls, antivirus and trojan protection, and I was told there could be conflicts using one of these products on top of theres, its like pouring fluid through multiple filters and the restriction slows and stops much of the flow. As a novice, I want password/personal protection, but there seems to be no cut and dry solutions offered, IMO of course.

  18. dont trust this guy hes trying to sell you he has affiliate links in the description. Norton and totalAV are both ass but bitdefender is decent i guess

  19. Norton is Malware….It bombards you with Cleaner Tool and Stupid ads on a regular basis….even when you have purchased a subscription. ZERO Trust in your recommendations when you have that on your top 3.

  20. my experience with totalav was hideous. Absolute scam artists. In Europe they entice you with a very low price and then you suddenly find that they have somehow managed to set up a direct debit on your paypal account. I NEVER allow direct debit from my paypal, but somehow they managed to invoke that. What happens next? They direct debit you 99 GBP not 49 USD and try to make it impossible to ever out!!! BEWARE!!! Never again.

  21. The video says this is Best antivirus 2024 BUT almost at the end of the video you say its "2023" so which one is correct?

  22. Nobody talks about Avast Premium much. The thing is, for six months, I purchased and used the most highly reviewed Internet Security software options available. Norton is amazing, but it consumes a lot of resources most of the time, even on a high-end gaming laptop. Bitdefender flags a lot of things as malware; it’s very sensitive. On the other hand, Avast strikes a good balance. It works efficiently without using many resources, and it rarely misses anything bad (including malicious content from adult sites, which can be harmful and not only make you happy !). It has an excellent sandbox feature for running potentially harmful files, and the bank mode feature is really useful. Its firewall is also very effective.
I’ve been using it for over two years now and have never had to format my disk.

  23. You 100% lost my trust in your video the second you showed Norton….Norton is nothing but one big AD that acts more like the Malware you want to remove off your computer…..then an actual Virus Scanner…..When your VIRUS SCANNER is blowing up your screen every 15 seconds with Ads wanting you to buy more Features like Cleaner Tools and Back Scratchers because ‘YOUR IN DANGER’ then I don’t consider it a Virus Scanner….but instead I would consider it to be MALWARE.

  24. Hey Vpnpro, thanks for the video.
How do I get bitdefender app on firestick? Do you have any code for downloader or how do I get it on FS?
